GPChampionship.com: GPC.Rank! rules
All laps submitted to GPC.Rank! are subject to the same rules. These rules need to be applied. If a lap does not comply to
these rules, it will be removed after the verification. These are the rules for GPC.Rank!
1. No corner-cutting
Corner-cutting is not allowed. The rule is that drivers must have two wheels touching (in any way) or be exactly vertically above the track at any time during the lap. The track consists of the tarmac between the white lines, the white lines itself, the regular (!) curbs. Curb-extensions (like green or grey extensions to be seen at for example A-1 Ring, Imola, Suzuka, Magny-Cours or Silverstone) do not belong to the track. Look at the images for a graphical representation of legal and illegal corners.
2. No wall-hitting
No touch with the wall is allowed during the lap. This concerns every touch with the walls, where the touch results in a sound. Please check your laps with low engine volume to see whether or not your laps are legal Laps are being checked with low engine sound to check if your lap complies to this rule.
3. Max AvPO of 100%
The AvPO of hotlaps needs to be 100% or lower. Values higher than 100% are illegal. You can check the current Processor Occupancy by pressing 'O' in-game.
4. Hotlap needs to be driven in unlimited practise session
Hotlaps must be driven in an unlimited practise-session, with only car of the player. The use of slipstreaming is not allowed.
5. Use allowed version of GPxPatch
Hotlaps must be driven with an allowed version of GPxPatch. The following versions are allowed in GPC.Rank!: 3.32, 3.35, 3.37a, 3.40, 3.50, 3.51, 3.52, 3.53, 3.54, 3.55, 3.56, 3.60, 3.61, 3.70, 3.80, 3.82, 3.83, 3.90, 3.91.
6. Save/restore function
The usage of the save/restore function in GPxPatch is allowed. Please bear in mind not to configure your restore point (Shift+Backspace) to close to the start/finish line. If this point is too close to the start/finish line, this could result in an illegal lap.
Good luck! If you have any suggestions to improve this championship within GPChampionship.com, feel free to let us know by e-mail or by submitting a post in our forum.
